The Byodo-In Temple is located at the foot of the Ko’olau Mountains in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Byodo-In Temple is an open temple to all people to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of this special place.

• It’s located on the North Side of Kane’ohe so include this into your Kane’ohe or North Shore agenda
• Bring a few dollars. It costs $2-$3 each person to enter
• Bring a camera
• Do not touch the swans
• Be sure to check out the gift shop (my fortune below)

GETTING THERE:

47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744, USA From Honolulu you can take H1 to Likelike  or Pali and end up in Kane’ohe. It is located on the left-hand side after Kahekili turns into a one-way across from the shopping Mall. The first entrance you can drive right through then stay to your left.
